Box Tops and Kroger Neighbor to Neighbor Donation Programs
Kroger Neighbor to Neighbor Donation Program
The Kroger Neighbor to Neighbor Donation Program donates $1 million annually to nonprofit organizations. Each eligible organization earns a percentage of the $1 million equal to the percentage of total earned contributions attributed to that organization through the use of your Kroger Plus Card. For the school year 2008-2009, Buckalew received $4,900 from this program thanks to the 134 families who participated in it. Our goal the school year 2009-2010 is to increase the number of families who participate in this program.
The accumulation period for this school year is from the July 1, 2009 to April 30, 2010, and Kroger will make its donation to the school in May 2010. Those who were enrolled last year will have to reenroll again this year. To enroll, take the attached Kroger letter with the Buckalew Elementary PTO barcode to your local Kroger store and present it to the cashier. The cashier will scan the barcode with your Kroger Plus Card. Once a card is scanned with the organization barcode, it will be active for the remainder of the program year of July 1, 2009 through April 30, 2010.
